Our operatives are experienced and trained in carrying out ‘soft-strip’ out projects where there is a requirement for non-structural elements of a building to be removed.
We use soft-strip techniques where we can remove recyclable materials such as timber, metal and plastics, prior to the full demolition of site or where a building is undergoing major refurbishment.
Using skill sets similar to those used in decommissioning work, we plan soft-strips systematically and ensure that site management is of the highest quality.
Soft-stripping allows us to segregate waste materials and, as a licensed waste carrier, ensure that we maximise the amount of material that is reused. We currently aim to recycle 95% of all materials.
Where traditional demolition techniques are deemed unsuitable, we are able to employ dismantling techniques to ensure safe, controlled project completion.
Meticulous dismantling is used in situations where remote demolition is improbable. We have the ability to undertake complex dismantling to structures in confined locations such as city centres, or as part of wider building refurbishments where existing structures require alterations.
